Two boats collided head-on in the Brahmaputra river in india. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon. The relatively small boat sank due to the collision of the boats. Although 10 to 12 people were able to swim, many including women and children went missing. Extensive operations are being carried out in the Brahmaputra river in search of them. Police and army have been involved in the rescue operation. Soon after the boat sank, the locals first started the rescue operation. Then the police came to rescue all the missing people. Meanwhile, more than 40 people have been rescued.
